Excellance Inc, manufacturer of high quality custom ambulances and emergency vehicles, announced today that it will be attending the 2017 International Stroke Conference. This year’s event will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas from February 22-24, 2017.

Event attendees will be able to visit Excellance’s booth where they can educate themselves on the company’s newest Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit (MSTU). This unit has been specifically designed to drastically reduce the time it takes to diagnose and treat patients. Rush University Medical Center has also announced its first purchase of an MSTU from Excellance using telemedicine.

The MSTU from Excellance sees the addition of new on-board technology including: a mobile CT scanner and a telemedicine unit, a hydraulic leveling system which ensures scans are accurate even when the unit is parked on uneven surfaces, an on-board diesel generator that can provide electrical power for medical equipment, and an exterior-mounted rear-vision camera to reduce any accidents that may be caused when driving the unit in reverse.
