James WilsonJames Edward Wilson was born July 22, 1960 and died July 3, 2017 in a tragic accidental shooting.  He had been employed by Excellance for 10 years (hire date 6/11/17 and worked in assembly) and recently received his 10 year challenge coin. He loved his job at Excellance and everyone at the company called him Wilson.  Wilson also deeply loved his family and his beautiful grandson.

The visitation hours for Wilson was last night (7/6/17)  and the funeral took place today at 11:00 a.m. James will be greatly missed by everyone at Excellance and our deepest sympathies go out to his loved ones at this time.

James Edward Wilson 56, of Elkmont,AL died Monday, July 03, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama.

Born Friday, July 22, 1960 in Huntland, TN, He was the son of the late Monroe Wilson and Flossie Wilson. He lived in the Ardmore area for the past 16 years coming from Fayetteville TN and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, Athens Al. He served 8 years in the Tennessee National Guard. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of The National Riffle Association and he loved spending time with his Grandbaby.


He is survived by his wife, Amanda Wilson, of Elkmont, AL, Daughter , Jessica Wilson Salters (Clay Holcomb) of Fayetteville, TN, three sons, Wes Isham, of Elkmont, AL, Al Isham, of Elkmont, AL, Cody Isham, of Elkmont, AL, one Brother, Kenneth Wilson, of Birmingham, AL, Three Sisters, Barbara Case, of Lake Panasoffkee, FL, Margaret Taylor, of Fayetteville, TN, and Mary Wilson, of Fayetteville TN. One Grandchild Kayden James Salters and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 06, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 07, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Bro. Tony Johnson and Bro. Lon Ostrzycki officiating. Burial will be in Prosperity Cemetery, Fayetteville, TN.
